SAKURA craft_lab's first knock-type ballpoint pen, the 008.
The idea was to imagine a free jazz session where players stimulate each other's sensibilities and imaginations to create a groove. Just by knocking on the top of the head, the instrument responds immediately to your desire to play.

This is SAKURA craft_lab's answer to making writing more free.
We want to create things that not only feel good to hold, but also appeal to the senses just by looking at them.
This feeling is also reflected in the details: the knock section, machined from brass, is designed to resemble the piston valves of a trumpet.
Furthermore, the joints of the knock section have small steps that resemble spreading ripples.
This pen has a simple form that inherits the DNA of the 001, yet it is imbued with a unique personality. The four colors combined with brass are sure to stir your senses.
