All the wood used for the olive wood mechanical pencils comes from olives grown in Tatebayashi City, Gunma Prefecture.
Tatebayashi is characterized by strong sunlight and long hours of sunshine.
We cut down large trees that grew while soaking up the sun's rays and used them as material for these mechanical pencils.
For the finish, we focused on "preserving the natural texture of the wood." After carefully preparing the raw wood finish, we apply a thin layer of natural rice-derived coating.
The wood maintains a state where it can breathe easily, and as you use it, a gentle luster slowly develops, making it more comfortable in your hand.
Each time you pick it up, you'll be reminded of Tatebayashi's air and sun. Please enjoy that story as well.
