■About the leather used: The name is "Pueblo," and it is cowhide leather made by the Italian tannery Badalassi Carlo using the "Vacchetta method," a traditional technique that has been passed down for generations in the Tuscany region.
"Pueblo" is the Italian word for the settlement of the Pueblo Indians, and the patterns are created by gently scratching the grain (leather surface) by hand to create a sense of ethnic expression and warmth. Because it contains plenty of oil, no special maintenance is required. The more you use it, the more it develops an antique-style luster and becomes soft and smooth to the touch. This is an excellent vegetable-tanned leather that strongly reflects traditional Italian techniques. *Some of the interior is made of kid leather.
